Choreography and Routines
Choreography and Routines are a Very important part of Fitness, Figure and Body Building. Choreography needs to be artistic and Fluent as well as entertaining. The Routine needs to reflect the Athletes Personality as well as highlighting their strengths.
While at the same time covering all the elements required for that category.
BODY BUILDING - Posing is an art Form and really needs to be practiced and practiced! You are looking to include Mandatory Poses as well as some unique ones. Put together with Fluency and Great entertainment value. It’s important to focus on the lines you are creating and how to perform with confidence!
FIGURE - The Figure Routine has a lot of room for creativity. While including your Mandatory Poses, you can also add a few athletic moves, Dance and Flexibility. You will have a few restrictions as Figure. “IS NOT FITESS” How ever it takes the pressure of the Athletic element off the Athlete, therefore allowing them to enjoy and perform. Figure is a popular Category, so having great Choreography means a great routine!!!! This is IMPORTANT if you want to be Remembered!!
FITNESS – The Fitness Routine is the hardest of the three categories. There are so many elements to work on in a Fitness Routine. How Ever! It all starts with the Choreography!
Bad Choreography means Lousy Routine!!! You have to have a great Foundation if you want to reach the TOP! This means a routine that flows; with high energy .It should highlight what you do well, and include your personality. Performing required Elements plus more. Smooth Transitions from floor to standing. As well as being three dimensional. , creative and entertaining! Then finally being able to make your routine an entertaining performance, while going through your moves, making it all look easy and polished all with a smile.
This takes Practice!! Practice!! Practice!!!!!
Choreography and an Entertaining and Creative routine is Extremely “IMPORTANT”!!
You have to be able to show your self as an Athlete in the best and possible Condition!
